Creative Writing (A215)

What's studying with the OU like?

More students register every year with the OU than with any other UK university. The OU is a proven centre of academic excellence which offers a flexible, high quality learning experience.

From the start, we will put you in touch with your nearest OU centre (we have 13 local offices around the UK) and you’ll be allocated a personal tutor who is a specialist in your subject. As the course progresses, you’ll have opportunities to discuss and exchange ideas with other students. Regular guidance and assessment by your tutor will keep your studies on track, and help you progress with confidence.

The OU Study Explained website provides more background information and answers to your questions.

To get a better idea of how studying with the OU might affect your life, see the Friends and Family site, and Arts students’ personal accounts of their experience.
