The Renaissance in Europe: A Cultural Enquiry (AA305)
AA305 home | Places to visit | Reference resources | Selected Renaissance sites | Student information | Reserve a place or register
Welcome to the AA305 website. This page includes a range of information and suggestions through the form of links to other sites which will enhance your enjoyment of both AA305 and the Renaissance in general. Since AA305 does not require you to have a computer, the resources on this page are additional rather than essential components of the course. Through using this page, you can find out where you might find examples of Renaissance art near to you, or of recent research in this exciting academic field. Do be careful, however, that you don't do too much extra reading: absorbing the course materials should remain your central academic activity. You will need, in other words, to be selective about how you use these extra resources reading a new article from a web journal is not a substitute for studying the course materials. Keep in mind too that there is enormous weight of material on the web, not all of which is academically respectable!
If you are not currently registered as a student on the course, but would like to find out more about it, further information is available online.
This course will be presented for the final time in 2008.
