The AD281 Course DVD includes a number of video and audio documentaries along with academic perspectives on them which form part of your weekly study as part of the course. A number of these have been made freely available to view or download on iTunes U. These can be accessed by following the links below.
Students who study the course have access to a specially designed password protected iTunes U site which allows them to download materials from the Course DVD for use on mobile devices if they prefer this option to using the Course DVD.
To access The Open University on iTunes U you will need to have the iTunes software installed. If iTunes is not installed on your computer, download iTunes, which is available for both Macintosh and Windows. Simply follow the appropriate install instructions and then return to this page.
The iTunes U sample materials have been arranged into a number of albums based on themes which run through the course.

If you do not have iTunes installed on your computer, you can access the albums on the OU Podcast page using your web browser. To access the albums, go to the OU Podcast site and search on the word 'heritage' or the name of the specific album which interests you.
