The OU Library Catalogue lets you search UK academic, public and national libraries as well as a wide range of libraries worldwide - choose the 'other libraries' link for these services.

OU Library: Finding resources for your subject
Go to the Library home page and select 'your subject'. This takes you to 'Online resources by subject'. Select your subject category from the drop down list, e.g. classical studies, and press 'go'. Select a subcategory if this is appropriate, e.g. 'Greece', or for all resources 'Classical Studies'. You will then have a choice of selecting all resources or just databases, or ejournals, or a combination.

MyOpenLibrary
This personalized library service lets you create links to the websites you find most useful for your study.

Access to Higher Education Libraries Database
This provides information on the availability of UK higher education libraries to Open University students.

Intute: Arts and Humanities
Intute is a free online service providing access to the best Web resources for education and research, selected and evaluated by a network of subject specialists. A huge range of Web resources are freely available by keyword searching and browsing.

The Voice of the Shuttle
This is one of the largest collections of Humanities resources online - select topics from the contents list or use the search facility.

SAFARI
The OU Library's online tutorial SAFARI - Skills in Accessing, Finding, and Reviewing Information - contains a wide range of material on locating, evaluating and managing information, both online and from other sources. As there is a great deal of information here, see the contents list for an overview.

Info Rate
Four short questionnaires from the Library to help you review and develop your information skills. They cover sources, search tools, planning effective searches and filtering, evaluating and acknowledging sources.
