The research group has initiated a local history project on Historypin for students on the OU History MA. Historypin is a digital mapping resource that aims to build a global archive of human history. We have opened an OU History MA channel on Historypin and students, tutors and members of the Research Group are all invited to pin items related to a selected theme. As the channel will be public it is hoped that others from outside the OU will post responses and comments on our pins and that in this way OU history can engage with a wider public.
