Brass and woodwind players’ routes into the music profession Music in Words: A Guide to Researching and Writing about Music
|
Media and other enquiries The projects listed in this site have been supported primarily by the Open University of United Kingdom, the Arts and Humanities Research Council (previously the Arts and Humanities Research Board) and the British Academy. Many of the outcomes of the most well-developed projects have been published in books and other printed media. A full list can be found online. Media are invited to contact Professor Trevor Herbert either through the Faculty of Arts of the Open University or at t.herbert@open.ac.uk Advice and help is also available to others including students, but we must emphasise that this project attracts many requests. Consequently, requests for advice must be short, focused and not requiring substantial discursive replies. This channel of advice should be used as a last resort: we do not expect to supply advice of the sort that can easily be obtained from printed sources such as books listed in the bibliographies on this site and major reference works such as New Grove II. Students, undergraduate and postgraduate, are recommended to look at the Music in Words section of this site. |
