About the series: This is the seconfof a two-part series of seminars on anti-colonial thinkers whose work has to date been relatively neglected in Postcolonial Literary Studies. Further details are available online and you can download the programme in PDF format. This seminar organised in collaboration with the Institute of English Studies at the University of London.

Venue: Senate House. Seminars are on Thursdays from 17.30 -19.00


 

In addition to the Open University / Institute of English Studies seminars, members of the Group have been active in organising conferences and workshops. These have included:'

  • Making Britain: Visions of Home and Abroad was held at the British Library with an exhibition open to the general public.
  • Individual research projects also run ongoing workshops. See project websites for more details.
  • Members of the group co-organised the Postcolonial Studies Association Postgraduate Conference, 'Networking the Globe: Information Technologies and the Postcolonial', held 21-22 May 2010 at Stirling University, Scotland. Follow this link for further information.
