Research students If you are interested in joining this research project as a research student, either full- or part-time, we would like to hear from you. Please contact Professor Martin Clayton for further details, and visit the OU’s Research School website for generic information about studying at the Open University. The Faculty of Arts offers 3 fully-funded research studentships each year. In 2006-7 the basic rate paid was approximately £12,300, depending on circumstances. As well as paying fees and a maintenance grant, the Faculty offers to full-time students research grants to support visits to archives, conferences, etc. Applications for part-time study may be made at any time of the year. For full-time students the closing date for applications is 1 March 2009.
