H Division

There has been no circumstance occur in this Division which will at all bear on the report in the Weekly Dispatch of Sunday last as to some indecency committed by a policeman.

There was about a fortnight ago a complaint made to me by the wife of PC 59 Barry that PC 170 Rafferty had exposed himself naked to her child On all the parties coming to the sup[erintenden]t’s office the woman’s own statement was that she sent the girl to clean out the Single Men’s Room when they were all in bed and that a part of Rafferty’s legs lay exposed when he was asleep but she was satisfied it was not intentional.

I however removed Rafferty to another house that there may be no more bickering and all parties seem perfectly satisfied this is the only case at bearing on the Report.
