Writing, Creativity and Translation, 15 May, The British Library
To accompany European Literature Night, this panel discussion will explore the role of translation in European fiction. Leading European writers and translators will discuss the relationship between these different literary roles, and the potential for collaboration and creativity in the act of translation. Issues of literary distribution and reception will also be addressed alongside discussion of translation strategies, market considerations and reader expectations. The session will be chaired by
