FirstClass
FirstClass is the email system that is provided for registered students. The software needed to drive this system comes as part of the course material. Several pre-determined ‘electronic conferences’ are set up for each student, including a direct link to the tutor and a link to all the students in the tutor group. Students also have access to a wide range of conference sites run by the Arts Faculty and OUSA, the Open University Students’ Association.
