- Between them, the companies associated with Edition Peters make available over 15,000 music items ranging from the Renaissance to the present day. A feature of Edition Peters is their collection of 330 Urtext editions, scholarly in scope and with critical commentaries, and some of the prefaces to individual editions in this series are available online (some in English, some German). The website supplies information about several contemporary in-house composers.
