An annotated online international bibliography on relevant academic literature will be compiled by John Wolffe and Phil Sutherland. Though there is copious research on Protestant-Catholic conflict, it is fragmented. Systematic bibliographic work is therefore a necessary preliminary step to the project. The database will only include material that explicitly and extensively engages with conflict issues and not internal histories of the two traditions in which such coverage is largely incidental.
