Moore was supplied this book by Mrs. Anne Elizabeth Le Fanu, younger sister of Richard Brinsley Sheridan. Moore was gathering materials for his Memoirs of the Life of the Right Honourable Richard Brinsley Sheridan, which he published in 1825.
