| Evidence: | 'After muster went into Melbourne & called at "the Yorick", had a look at Punch, there was a portrait of Dr Paley not a very flattering one but still a good likeness. The letter-press added to the picture was kindly worded so I suppose the doctor will not be very much displeased though the lips are represented as decidedly heavy & his general expression rather more sleepy than intellectual looking' |
