We are seeking to recruit a colleague to join our team of academics within the Discipline of Classical Studies.

You will be expected to contribute to undergraduate and postgraduate teaching, supporting and leading teams responsible for the production, presentation, assessment and quality assurance of Classical Studies modules and for the interdisciplinary modules to which Classical Studies contributes.  In particular, you will support the teaching of A340 The Roman Empire as well as other Classical Studies and/or Level 1 modules, depending on expertise. Other duties may include developing a programme of outreach activities and teaching resources to promote Classical Studies in schools. You will also be an active researcher with planned research outputs for the next REF.

You will have a PhD in Classics, Classical Studies, Ancient History, Classical Archaeology or a related subject.
