The Open University Business School invites applications for a number of full-time funded PhD studentships beginning 1 October 2020. If successful, you will join a vibrant environment of students and academics in the School who conduct research of the highest international standard that has economic, public and social value consistent with the mission of the Open University. You will work with subject specialists and have the opportunity to develop your skills in research communication, engagement and impact.

PhD studentships are based on full-time study for three years at the Milton Keynes campus. Students are normally expected to live within commuting distance of Milton Keynes. Studentships cover tuition fees, a generous research training support grant and a stipend (circa £15,009 per annum) for 36 months
Applicants should have minimum qualifications of an upper second class honours degree 2:1 (or equivalent) and usually a specialist masters in a subject relevant to the intended study with a strong research element.
Your application should comprise of a 1,000-2,000 word research proposal and a covering letter outlining your suitability for your chosen project. We must also receive a completed application form and copies of relevant degree certificates and transcripts before we can consider your application.
