Are you an experienced Operations or Project Manager? We have an exciting opportunity in a newly created Centre for a motivated and driven individual working with colleagues both within the Faculty of Business and Law and across the wider university.

The Centre for Innovation in Legal and Business Education (SCIi LAB ed) brings together academics from the Business and Law Schools to promote and support the development of research associated with the teaching and learning of business and law subjects The Operations Manager role will play a key role in   supporting the start-up for the centre, developing and establishing a range of processes and duties for the successful operation of the centre in collaboration with the Director of SCi LAB and the Senior Research, Enterprise and Scholarship Manager.

You will act as the initial contact for day to day queries on a range of topics and tasks. as well as monitoring the progress of the scholarship plans, proposals and activities.

Another aspect of this role will be to take responsibility for the Centre’s web presence as well as arrangement of seminars, workshops and conferences, promoting these as required.

You will have a first degree or work experience at a comparable level as well as substantial experience of working in a project team environment involving multiple stake holders being able to demonstrate key project management skills.

You will also be able to demonstrate strong communication skills, both verbal and written with evidence of developing print and web material appropriate for specific audiences. In the addition demonstratable experience of managing budgets and providing written reports would be required for this role.
