The role

We are seeking highly motivated researcher to play a key role to investigate photo catalytically active structures for industrial wastewater treatment at the school of Engineering and Innovation, The Open University UK. The project related to this position is funded under European Horizon 2020 program.

The research project on the wastewater treatment is multidisciplinary and the project collaborates closely with industries in the EU, in Turkey and in several EU institutes, University of Cambridge and CPI UK as well as forming large international networks. The post holder will carry out research which will be interdisciplinary, involving synthetic and analytic chemistry, materials research, wastewater remediation technologies and environmental science to provide industrially relevant solutions for wastewater treatment.

The laboratories involved in the project are among the top research groups in the world in their research fields and they jointly offer a unique environment for strong collaborative interdisciplinary research and productive co-operation.
