Careers and Employability Services

We’re looking for a confident self-starter:

  • Inspired by our commitment to continuous improvement and quality careers and employability services;
  • Motivated by the opportunity to identify needs and inform the development and improvement of our services in contributing to a quality student experience.

This is a unique and exciting opportunity to gain experience in the quality assurance and enhancement of the Open University’s Careers and Employability services, which helps thousands of people realise their life and career ambitions.

An immediate priority this year will be to lead the development and implementation of new quality assurance standards and continuous improvement procedures.

You will have a good eye for detail, strong analytical skills and have the ability to solve problems creatively and adapt to change rapidly.  You will be well organised, flexible and be comfortable working under pressure to challenging deadlines.

You will be a good communicator with strong interpersonal skills, enjoy working as part of a team and on your own initiative. A knowledge of quality standards, careers advice, process development, and research and evaluation methods would be an advantage.

Interviews: 18 July 2018 (interviews may take place in either Milton Keynes or Nottingham)
