For some, financial constraints can make access to education seem impossible.
We are able to open doors to learning to so many more people due to the generous support of our donors.
In 2010-11, we received donations to the value of £628,000 from our alumni community and other supporters. This has enabled us to offer assistance with module fees to those students most in need and for whom access to education would be extremely difficult, if not impossible, due to financial constraints.
Donations have also provided additional support for students by awarding individual grants to help with costs associated with their studies, for example, dyslexia assessments, books, travel to tutorials, and even childcare to help a parent attend a tutorial.
