eSTEeM members Karen Kear, Jon Rosewell and Keith Williams (MCT), are soon to complete their work on the EADTU led e-xcellence NEXT project http://www.eadtu.eu/e-xcellencenext.html.
The initial edition of the manual was published in 2006 and the task undertaken by Karen, Jon and Keith has been to update and revise the manual taking into account feedback from users and in particular to ensure that developments in the uses of Open Educational Resources and social networking in higher education are addressed. In addition to their updating activities they have also taken part in reviews of e-learning activity in institutions in Cyprus, Greece, Latvia and Lithuania.
The new edition of the manual will be launched at the EADTU Annual Conference in Cyprus at the end of September 2012 and it will subsequently available for download from the EADTU’s e-xcellence website http://www.eadtu.nl/e-xcellencelabel/default.asp?mMid=1.
