Are you eligible for DSA funding?

Are you eligible for funding from the Disabled Students’ Allowance? To find out, you should first speak confidentially to the adviser at your university or college, or to your learning adviser.

  • Remember that you don’t have to have a disability that affects you on a day-to-day basis, it could just be one that affects your ability to study effectively.
  • Do you have medical evidence or psychological evidence of your disability? If not, you will need it in order to be eligible for a DSA assessment.
  • You do not need to be registered disabled or in receipt of disability benefits to be eligible for the DSA.

Disabled Students’ Allowance eligibility quiz

The DSA eligibility quiz is designed to be a quick and easy way for you to decide whether you may be eligible for DSA funding. The quiz should take between 1 and 3 minutes (depending on the answers you give). After you have answered all questions relevant to you, you will be provided with DSA advice.
