In order to be considered as a DSA Assessor you must:
- Be a working DSA Assessor with a minimum of two years DSA assessment experience
- Be working for an approved DSA Assessment Centre (or)
- Have worked for a DSA Assessment Centre in the past 12 months as a DSA Assessor
- Hold a current full UK driving licence and Insurance to drive on work related business
- Be willing and available to drive within a 30+ mile radius of your home to carry out remote DSA assessments
- Have successfully undertaken over 100 DSA Assessments.
In order to be considered as a Specialist Technology Trainer you must:
- Provide evidence of specialist software/hardware knowledge
- E.g. TextHelp, Inspiration, MindManager, Dragon, ClaroRead, Digital Recorders, etc
- Provide evidence of previous disability-related training experience (certification, course attendance, records, etc.)
- Hold a current full UK driving licence and Insurance to drive on work related business
- Be willing and available to drive within a 30+ mile radius of your home to carry out remote DSA assessments.

Please be aware that all our external DSA Assessors and Trainers are independent contractors working for the Centre in the regions and nations and that most Assessments/Trainings are carried out in remote locations, including student homes.
