The Network

CRSN aims to facilitate the exchange of information and to encourage collaboration in the field of classical reception studies.

The Classical Reception Studies Network was formed in 2004 with the goal of promoting collaboration among institutions with research interests in Classical Reception Studies. Membership of the network includes institutions both in Britain and across the world. CRSN membership is free - just fill out our application form. You can find out more about who we are and what we do on our members pages.

What we do

The Network promotes rigorous debate about all aspects of classical reception studies. We support the development of seminars and workshops to encourage the exchange of expertise and growth of collaborative projects. This includes the supervision of graduate students. We also publicise events and publications relating to Classical Reception Studies. Please send details of events you are planning (conferences, workshops, performances) or information about your new publications in the field to  CRSN@open.ac.uk
