Martin J. Power

Dr Martin J. Power is a Lecturer in Sociology at University of Limerick, Ireland where he teaches courses on the Sociology of the Welfare State, Inequality and Social Exclusion, The sociology of youth and community and The Sociology of Urban Regeneration. He has published widely on the persistence of class inequality in Irish society and on media representations of stigmatised housing estates in Ireland. He is a series editor of the Discourse, Power and Society book series, published by Rowman and Littlefield International.
