Curriculum

Several members of the Literature and Music Research Group collaborated in the production of a joint undergraduate module AA317: Words and Music, which was taught from 2008 to 2011, becoming influential in the teaching of this interdisciplinary field both in the UK and internationally. The module made use of the book Music, Words and Voice: A Reader, edited by Martin Clayton and co-published with Manchester University Press.

The MA in English, available since 2009, provides opportunities for students to study works in other media, including music.
