Voluntary Sector trainers increasingly use a mix of media and methods in learning design. The mix now includes e-learning, as advances have made it accessible to individual trainers.
I am conducting an online survey that explores trainers’ awareness of and attitudes towards Open Educational Resources (OER), which are digitised materials offered freely and openly for educators, students and self-learners to use and re-use for teaching and learning. The purpose of this survey is to inform the design of our CharityWise repository.
Please help me to do a good job of tailoring OER for Voluntary Sector training by participating in this survey, which should take no more than 15 minutes. At the end of the survey you will be invited to enter a draw to win a new Kindle eBook reader.
To participate in this survey follow this link http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/vcs-oer.
This survey is open until 8 August 2011. The prize draw will take place on 12 August and the winner will be announced here. The results of the survey will also be published here in early September 2011.
The survey data will be anonymous and will be processed in accordance with the requirements of the UK Data Protection Act 1998 and the Freedom of Information Act 2000. There are no risks, obligations or benefits except the prize draw for a Kindle. If you choose to enter the prize draw or sign up for future project news your contact details will be kept separately from the survey data. Participation in this survey indicates your consent and you are free to leave the survey at any time.
Many thanks in advance for your participation.
