Now we go faster

Since Friday the universe has been a faster place. I think the sand particles in my egg timer went faster at breakfast this weekend. If Einstein was wrong we can have Gene Roddenberry’s warp speed engines. We don’t have to stop wo/manned space flight at the moon. If Einstein was probably wrong then Douglas Adams was probably right and we can have the Infinite Improbability Drive. And then there is no knowing where we’ll stop – or even where we’re going.

The Heart of Gold- with an Infinite Improbability Drive

Maybe we can have a new distance education- the distance between knowing and not knowing will decrease with the speed of light.

About Gill Kirkup

I have worked most of my life as an academic engaged in a combination of teaching, research and scholarship. A strong theme over the years has been a critical engagement with the gendering of technologies and the technologies of gender and identity. This blog is a place where I can reflect on all of these - sometimes in a scholarly way -but not always.
