Hi everybody!
Once again the PGSS elections have been and gone and I am very happy to say that I am your new president.
For those of you who don’t know me, I’m a second year Ph.D. student in the Department for Physical Sciences. I just wanted to send out this email so that everyone who was unable to attend the elections could find out who their new committee were. So, drumroll please…
*In the role of treasurer we have… Richard Busuttil, a third year in Physical Sciences.
*In the role of secretary we have… Rebecca Wolsey, a second year, also in Physical Sciences.
*And sharing the role of webmaster we have the equally mysterious Phil Rogers and Dasha Herrmannova.
For those of you who attended the elections I would like to thank you for voting me in and I will try my very best to get the things you want (well thing…cashpoint). No promises but I will dutifully try.
Lastly I would like to say that we will be having many events happening this year to try and get everyone together as much as possible (without you all being sick of seeing my face) so keep an eye out on both the Facebook page “PGSS at the OU” (https://www.facebook.com/groups/7146754111) and our new website “http://www.open.ac.uk/blogs/PGSS/” where we will post information of upcoming events.
