Student Discount on Campus
All full-time postgraduate students on campus are entitled to a 10% discount on food in the catering outlets across campus (the shop is NOT included as it is independent). The discount applies to food and drink that has been made on campus, so no branded crisps/chocolate bars/soft drinks are included (and for some reason neither is coffee).
To get the discount just make sure that you have “Post-graduate Student” printed in red on the front of your access card and let the cashiers know you are a student!
Cash on Campus
You can get cashback from any of the food outlets on campus run by ISS Catering (the Hub, Berril etc.), provided you spend more than £5 (this works I know in The Venables Cafe and I assume the same applies for the berrill).
The nearest cash machines are in Kents Hill (on the way to Walnut Tree and then take a left at the bridge on the redway – see google maps) and the Tinkers Bridge Tescos.
