Geocaching instead of Dancing

Rebecca and I were so very tired after today. We returned to the comfortable halls after our presentation and had an enjoyable and nice meal. But we couldn’t face dancing so instead we decided to go hunt for a geocache just off campus. What a daft idea! We ended up walking about 2 miles – much of it in the dark, through the back end of beyond with two backlit PDAs drawing attention to ourselves. Still, we were on a mission. We got to the ringroad with a view of accident and emergency and a diesel generator (as described in the geocache description) and eventually found the small geocache in the armco barrier.

This certainly was not a romantic or historic geocache, but it was fun. We tramped our way back to the centre and had a glass of wine to celebrate.
