Women* interested in a career in science, technology, engineering or maths (STEM) can now visit STEMgirls, a new website where you can ask questions directly to women working in those career areas. (*Men can also ask questions, but priority will be given to answering questions of most relevance to women).

STEMgirls has been launched by the British Science Association in order to encourage more women to explore the wide range of potential careers available to them in the currently male-dominated fields of science, technology, engineering and mathematics.

For women already in STEM career areas there is the chance to join the STEMgirls bank of advisors and share your expertise.
