I thought that your postcard and photos of the folk remaining at home was wonderful. So checked out your blog to look at the postcard. ” Hoping yous are well as this leaves grannie and myself well”. Its just so “Ulster”. Great!

As you can see, not exactly a speedy reply to your kind post! Thanks for watching the YouTube videos. We were amazed at how popular they turned out to be. We never thought anyone would want to watch us in this way, so it’s been a really successful experiment. We’re hoping to repeat them this coming autumn, so keep an eye out for them come October. We’re focusing on urban history this year.
I know – I love the ‘Ulsterism’ in the postcard as well. Just wish we had more of that kind of stuff, but it’s so elusive, isn’t is, and so vulnerable to chance and happenstance.
