New OU curriculum partnership with Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance

Trinity Laban [CREDIT_James Keates]The OU Department of Music is delighted to announce the launch of a partnership with Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance. ‘The Practice of Music Making’ (PMM) Certificate, developed by Trinity Laban in association with the OU, combines distance learning with face-to-face teaching by experts at a tailored one-week residential course at Trinity Laban in Greenwich. Bringing together the expertise of two top UK Higher Education institutions for the first time, the Certificate is designed for musicians wanting to enhance their performance skills and enhance their understanding of the artform. The Certificate* can contribute towards degree study with the OU or be completed as a stand-alone programme. Subject to validation, the certificate is planned to have its first presentation in October 2016.
