One of the MA graduates of 2016, Sue Elliott, has had a paper accepted for a leading conference, the First International Conference on Women’s Work in Music. Sue’s MA dissertation forms the basis of her conference paper,’Women Composers and the Proms: The First 100 Years’. This exciting conference takes place in Bangor in September 2017, and has been timed to mark the 40th anniversary of the death of the Welsh composer Grace Williams (1906–77) (seen below). Its packed programme includes keynote speakers, concerts and conference papers.
