The OU at the North American British Music Studies Association Conference

The Department will be well represented at the biennial conference of the North American British Music Association in July. Rosemary Golding will present a paper on her ongoing exploration of British music education in the nineteenth century, Catherine Tackley will talk on responses to jazz in Britain and postgraduate student Samantha Bassler will present her paper “John Dowland and Constructions of Melancholy as Disability in Early Modern England”.
