CHASE Studentships in Music at the Open University

The Department of Music at the Open University invites applications for October 2015 entry to our PhD programme.

The Open University is part of the CHASE AHRC Doctoral Training Partnership together with the Courtauld Institute of Art, Goldsmiths, University of London and the Universities of East Anglia, Essex, Kent and Sussex. Successful applicants for PhD study at the Open University will have the opportunity to apply for a CHASE studentship. These awards cover fees and a stipend for students based in the UK, and fees only for EU residents.

How to apply

Informal enquiries about CHASE studentships and PhD studies in the Music Department should be made to Helen Coffey (helen.coffey@open.ac.uk) in the first instance.

Applications will be considered by the Faculty of Arts on a competitive basis and forwarded to four CHASE panels for further assessment and ranking.
