Dr Arthur Langer

Dr Arthur Langer is the Academic Director and Faculty member of the Executive Masters in Technology Management at Columbia University. He also serves on the faculty of Organization & Leadership at the Graduate School of Education and is the Senior Director of the Center of Technology, Innovation, and Community Engagement at the Fu Foundation School of Engineering and Applied Science. His most recent appointment is to the Columbia Business School beginning July 2011.

As a researcher, Dr Langer has authored various papers on information systems design and management. His current research focuses on the mentoring of adult learners and the design of technology-based curricula for corporations and universities. Dr. Langer is also Chairman and Founder of Workforce Opportunity Services, a non-profit social venture that provides education and jobs for underserved populations around the world.

Dr. Langer holds a B.S. in Computer Science, an M.B.A. in Accounting/Finance, and a Doctorate of Education from Columbia University.
