
A business technology leader with over 30 years of experience, Maggie has a long and distinguished career in the technology sector in the UK and overseas.
Based in New York, Maggie is currently an IT strategy and business change consultant applying the knowledge and experience gained at large cap companies to consulting roles in both the public & private sector. She specializes in aligning strategy with critical imperatives to achieve competitive financial outcomes in challenging environments with particular expertise in customer-facing multi-channel sectors including retail, digital media, and high-tech within multiple funding models including public, private, and PE-backed organisations.
Maggie was previously Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer (CIO) for Warner Music Group (WMG), where she was responsible for the company's global Information Technology function. In addition to transforming WMG’s processes and systems for the digital era, Maggie oversaw the expansion of WMG's numerous web businesses and B2C e-Commerce capability.
Prior to joining WMG, Maggie held the CIO post at food retailer J. Sainsbury's from 2001 to 2005; was Vice President and CIO for Dell Europe/Middle East/Asia (EMEA) from 1997 to 2001; was Group IS Director for First Choice Holidays PLC; held numerous IT-related managerial positions at Brooke Bond Oxo Ltd., a subsidiary of Unilever, and spent eight years working in the finance sector. In addition to her consulting role, Maggie is a mentor for Columbia University’s executive MSc in technology management programme and is passionate about the development of the next generation of leaders. Maggie received her Masters of Business Administration from The Open University in 1993.
