Sanjeeb is currently Regional Head for South Asia and Global Head of Marketing at Standard Chartered Bank. Sanjeeb is a member of the Standard Chartered Executive Leadership Team and participates in the Global Talent Council. He is a member of the Consumer Bank Global Steering Group and a Management Committee member of Standard Chartered India. India is among the top markets for Standard Chartered plc globally. He is also a Board member of Standard Chartered Securities India Limited.

Sanjeeb joined Standard Chartered Bank from Citigroup where he was the Regional CEO for Central and Eastern Europe for the Global Consumer Group (GCG) and Chief Marketing Officer and Managing Director of Retail Banking for Europe, Middle East and Africa. He was also a member of the Citi Management Committee, the Global Consumer Planning Group, and the Citi Global Advertising Council. His prior Citibank assignments were CEO of the Consumer business at Bank Handlowy, Poland; Head of Sales and Distribution, GCG - EMEA; Head of Retail Banking - EMEA; Country Business Manager for Citibank in Hungary, UK/Ireland, CitiGold International; and Managing Director, Diners Club UK and Ireland. Before that, Sanjeeb was Cards and Banking Business Manager at Citibank India. Sanjeeb has been Chairman of MasterCard International's South Asia Marketing Committee for 7 years.
