    The Open University Business School (OUBS) is offering visitors to its stand at the HRD Conference Exhibition the opportunity to win a Masterclass worth more than £2,000 for their company or organisation.
    The OUBS, Europe’s largest business school, is exhibiting at this year's HRD (Human Resource Development) Conference Exhibition at Olympia, from 8-10 April 2003.

    The Open University Business School (OUBS) MBA programme has been ranked fourth in the world in a new survey out today (March 24).
    The Financial Times newspaper has examined distance learning MBA programmes and ranked them on the basis of the number of students, completion rates, level of support offered to students, and accreditation.

    The Open University Business School (OUBS), Europe's largest business school, is the first business school to become a member of the Thames Valley Economic Partnership (TVEP).
    Professor Roland Kaye, Dean of the OUBS, said joining the Partnership is a new venture for the school:
    "It positions us alongside a group of major companies across a wide range of business sectors and our membership reflects the growing links between the business school and commerce generally."

    The Open University Business School (OUBS) is appealing to professionals from ethnic minority groups in the London area to consider becoming part-time tutors.
    The OUBS recognises that it has too few tutors (known as associate lecturers) from ethnic minority backgrounds and is actively campaigning to redress the balance. The school is particularly keen to encourage professionals from the black and Asian communities to consider part-time tutoring.

    The first South African students to qualify for an Open University Business School MBA have graduated at a degree ceremony near Johannesburg.
    Their studies were made possible by a partnership between the Open University Business School (OUBS) and the University of South Africa's School of Business Leadership (UNISA SBL).
    Among the first graduates was Phetole Rabohale who received his degree from OU Pro-Vice-Chancellor Professor Linda Jones (see pic left).

    Open University Business School student Phil Parvin has been named MBA Student of the Year 2002 by AMBA, the Association of MBAs.
    Phil, a Lieutenant Commander in the Royal Navy, received his award from Margaret Hodge MP, Minister of State for Lifelong Learning and Higher Education, at a glittering awards ceremony in London last night (November 7).
