Current research

How do sportswear companies innovate: to what extent is knowledge embedded in technological innovation within new product development in the sportswear industry?

Anjali will be looking at how an organisation creates knowledge to support its innovation and thereby to what extent knowledge is embedded within products and process. Her research is expected to illustrate how knowledge creating capabilities of an organisation determines its performance and survival by routinely innovating (or vice-versa). She will be looking at the product development process - where does new knowledge come from, how designers work on new ideas and the ways in which their knowledge is reflected back in innovative design on their knowledge creation, ie. the product.
