Salim joined the OUBS as a Lecturer in Finance in 2012. Prior to that, Salim worked as a Teaching Fellow in Finance at Durham Business School. He received his undergraduate and postgraduate qualifications from Manchester Business School, the University of Manchester. In the past, he also worked for the Sheffield Management School, Nottingham Business School and ESRC.
While at Durham, Salim taught a number of undergraduate modules including Financial Theory and Corporate Policy, Corporate Finance, Security Investment Analysis, and Financial Markets & Risk Management. He is currently involved in teaching MBA-level modules in finance including Corporate Finance (B831) and Managing Financial Risk (BB841). Salim also has an ongoing interest in researching current innovations in pedagogy, teaching and learning within modern business education.
