Corporate Governance and Its Impact on the Firm’s Performance and Valuation

Subhan is investigating the impact of internal corporate governance mechanisms on firm operating and financial performance in the two major European economies, the UK and Germany, during the recent and on-going global financial crisis. The purpose of this research is to compare the relative strengths and weakness associated with both corporate governance systems, and to analyse the potential impacts of different internal governance mechanisms on firm performance in these economies, particularly in the context of the recent financial crisis.
