International Fellowships

"Connecting academic communities around the world"

The Open University Business School and The Open University Law School are dedicated to the development of practice-based learning in the field of management and professional education.

Our world class learning approach takes business, management and legal education into the very heart of professional practice, enriched by a worldwide network of partnerships, and underpinned by leading edge research and a deep understanding of how professionals learn and develop their practice. We are one of just 52 Business Schools worldwide with triple accreditation from EQUIS, AACSB, and AMBA.

Academics and practitioners in all countries, particularly from developing countries and newly emerging economies, are invited to apply for a fellowship to undertake a project (normally 3 to 6 months) at The Open University Business School or The Open University Law School in Milton Keynes, United Kingdom.

  1. International management practice, education and learning (IMPEL)
  2. Innovation in teaching and learning (InTEL)
  3. Responsibility and regulation (R&R)
  • Training and development
  • Academic exchange
  • Module development and writing

Applications are particularly welcome for projects focusing on various aspects of our learning and teaching design and which support our practice-based open learning model.
