This work explores the lasting outcomes of student-centered learning on personal and professional development and working practice. The sample comprised management students taking a student-centered course module. A number of participants who have studied the Creative Management and Creativity, Innovation and Change modules claim these courses are life changing and that they refer to the materials regularly decades after the course has ended. Flexibility in assignments to accommodate students' key concerns, coupled with resources to support these and a face to face element to embed learning were among the critical components in the success of the design.
