• Backed by a world class research capability the OU business school tutors are practising professionals whose thought leadership is grounded in real life and at the cutting edge
• With a student to staff ratio of 16:1 OU MBA students receive personal support throughout the MBA and as alumni, and in stage 2 also receive the support of an MBA study advisor in addition to the course tutor

Integrating residential, Online events and Networking

• The OU distance MBA incorporates three collaborative learning events, linked to the core course modules. These are short residential schools (4- 5 days) in a range of European locations, or structured online events over a longer period. Each residential is an enjoyable student experience allowing networking and intense face–to-face interactive learning
• OU technologies allow students to share and collaborate with other students creating global networks
• International alumni operate a mentoring service

Assessment built on a practice-based learning

• The immediate opportunity to apply and test new ideas and knowledge at work is provided via an overarching assessment framework. The final core module is an Evidence Based Initiative (EBI) project, which tests your critical understanding of the study in the context of your own practice
