How MBA sponsorship helps employers

Companies and organisations across the world sponsor their staff on our MBA - because we go out of our way to ensure MBA study meets organisational as well as individual needs.

Advice

We offer advice to employers and employees about study time and entry routes, and can provide induction sessions to help employees and line managers understand the content and context of the learning intervention and MBA sponsorship.

Organisational focus

Core learning objectives of the MBA are defined in accordance with QAA benchmarks. Organisational needs are also factored in, not only because the employer may be sponsoring an employee, but because the student will gain more from the learning if organisational objectives are taken into account.

Balanced objectives

Students are helped to balance their own and their organisation’s objectives by course tutors, their MBA coach and by the regular consideration of the context of their organisation. They are given especial help to meet personal and organisational learning objectives when they undertake a 300-hour action-learning management project, which is the last major element of their MBA. Students are encouraged to base this on an aspect of their current work situation and/or environment to ensure that the learning addresses the individual’s personal and organisational objectives.
