My business career has spanned nearly 40 years, and, during this time, I have predominantly worked for large organisations in retail banking (including HSBC) and the airline industry (including British Airways).
My management responsibilities have covered a wide range of activities, including finance, marketing, operations and strategy development. Since 1990 I have also developed an interest in working on MBA and other management programmes, with a number of business schools and educational institutions in the UK, Europe and the USA. Over the last five years this has been done exclusively with the OU Business School, where I have worked on the development and delivery both of the Strategy module for the MBA, and of tailor-made programmes for some of the School’s corporate customers.
I most enjoy the time I spend working directly with students broadening an understanding of approaches to management issues and problems.
The Open University, together with international partners, offers its MBA and many other programmes across the globe.
